The rain record during Roskilde festival 2007 was not very funny. And the cold I’ve had since we got back home neither… Becouse of all the rain we had to leave the camping area and go back home to change clothes and bags and then head for Denmark once again but then Copenhagen as our target. We stayed with our very friendly friends Anders and Karin (they've got wii!) and from there we went back and forth to the festival to see the music we paid for. I saw LCD Soundsystem, Talib Kweli and Jean Grae (Blacksmith records), Jeans Team, Beastie Boys, Trentemöller, Booka shade, M.A.N.D.Y Patrick, Tiesto, Diplo and Wilco.

Diplo were the best (OOOO DARCY!!!!), Talib Kweli was cool and Jeans Team crazy. This as I imagined it to be. Trentemöller, Wilco and booka shade on the other side made several mistakes.

Next I wane go to trance festivals in Hungary :)

In modern Sweden, Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer's Day (Midsommarafton and Midsommardagen) are celebrated from the eve of the Friday between June 19 - 25. It is arguably the most important holiday of the year, and one of the most uniquely Swedish in the way it is celebrated, even if it has been influenced by other countries long ago. The main celebrations take place on the Friday, and the traditional events include raising and dancing around a huge maypole. One typical dance is the frog dance. Before the maypole is raised, greens and flowers are collected and used to cover the entire pole.

Raising and dancing around a maypole (majstången or midsommarstången) is an activity that attracts families and many others. People dancing around the pole listen to traditional music and many wear traditional folk costumes. The year's first potatoes, pickled herring, sour cream, and possibly the first strawberries of the season are on the menu. Drinking songs are also important at this feast, and many drink heavily.

As expected I worked during the midsommer's eve's day..... But I arrived to Axels place in Örkelljunga at 6 and there I cathed up with drinks, food, krocket (the swedish krocket) and animal beam, especially horse beam. I knew before that Axels family had horses, but what I didn't know was that in the horses paddock were also MINIHORSES! So cute, and so smal!

Christel, grandma and dad

A great surpirise were in store for me yesterday when I got back from work. I had recieved a package from Argentina! WOW! It was from my great friends Richard and Emily who's making a trip around the globe actually, and after their visit in Buenos Aries at Julietas place they send me a gift! I should mention that it was on gift for Austrailan Amy (wich I'm expecting 14th july) and one for Danish Jens (wich Amy's also going to visit) too. I got a really good lookin and nice smelling scarf, a pin with a colourfulk couple and a postcard! THANKYOU! :)

FLOWmarket and rumble

För första gången lämnade vi i lördes bort Hassan på passning eftersom vi spenderade hela dagen i det regniga köpenhamn. Var på DanskDesignCenter och jag blev facinerad av tandläkarstolen (som jag såklart tog kontroll över) och utställningen FLOWmarket. Det var ball för allting var typ vitt och fick hjärnan komma igång igen.
Spent the entire saturday in copenhagen. To avoid the rain we ran in to Danish Design Center. I liked the dentistchair witch I were in control of and the FLOWmarket where everything was in white and once again my brain started to work.

Getting dry after the copenhagen tour and some fine food and wine at Emmas girlparty it was time for getting wet again. This was first at Debaser dancing to some good old Sci-Fi Skåne and then meeting up with Magnus at Inkonst, RUMBLE, for som electro hiphop and dance by some men of great ability from BALTIMORE, USA :)

Revigör

Revigör har nån slags reklamkampanj på må bra dagen efter såhär i festtider. Mange fick ett revigör packet av Lina och jag blev såklart testperson. Med tanke på hur pass dålig jag blir jämfört med andra dagen efter så var det ganska mycket att ta i att ha mig som testperson och tro att d funka. Det handlar om brustabletter. 1 tablett innan första drinken. 1 tablett innan sängdags. sista tabletten när man stier upp. Om d funka? Jag har inte mått illa på hela dagen, men kallsvettningar och dålig mage verkar va svårbotat. Kan tänka mig att göra d igen om det inte är dyrt. Folk med mer lindriga baksmällor borde testa, kanske funkar bättre på dig? Men festen, den va roligt och idag konstaterade vi att alla har jätteroligt när dom är på fest hos oss :) Håller du inte med? Hör av dig, inte på bloggen dock, det skulle ju itne se så bra ut....
Idag har vi städat, varit på promenad längs stranden och kollat på Lady Vengeance. Lady Vengaence var lång, men bra. 4 av 5.
I was the test person fot the new revigör, pills that take away the day after feeling. 1 pill before drink. 1 pill before bed. 1 pill after sleep. It did not work perectly.... But I havent felt as sick as usual though. The party was great and we are convinced that me and magnus are great party hosts. Today we cleaned up the mess, went for a walk by the beach and saw Lady Vengeance. Lady Vengeance were long but good. 4 birds nests out of 5.

Magnus Birthday

Magnus har fyllt år och idag är hans första dag som arbetslös. Det du. Ida, Magnus syster kom på besök i tisdags, det var roligt. För vi gick till carib kreol i hopp om att få ett bord fast det var fullbokat. Man kan väl säga att servitörerna blev lite irriterade på oss till en början, men 2 timmar senare fick vi ju ett bord o alla ble glada. nån timme efetr det fick vi även mat! mums filibabba så gott det var. Jag åt en tupp och sötpotatis. Sen hamnade vi på en balkanfest på inkonst. Dagen efter kom Magnus farmor Elsa, bror Jocke, pappa Lasse och mamma Carina/Iris på kalas. Det blev en tur till mitt favvo ställe i malmö, V. Hamnen. Elsa hade ju aldrig sett Turning Torso live innan.

Magnus had his birthday and today is his first day as an unemployed. wiki wowow. We celibrated the birthday at carib Kreol and at a balkan party. And the day after Magnus family came and we ate brunch and cake and took a trip to my favorite place in malmö, the turning torso area :) :) :)

Ahh, zoegas skånerost. gott. Nu är ja ledig igen och på torsdag skulle jag o Annika åkt till tyskland på tur inför festen på fredag, men vi hade bara en enkelbiljett. Det får bli brofästet istället, lia bra. Och igår klippte Elin mig, det blev jättebra som vanligt när Elin får ta till saxen sådär en gång om året. Och en gång om året har vi alle (Ja Mange Emma Pappa Christel Marre Suss Framor Sven Brittan Kristina Mats Camilla Patrik Nelly Nora Thea Alfons) en picknick eller nåt tilsammans. Denna gången var vi i Gislöv hos Kristina o Mats Nelly o Nora. Vi hälsade också på hos Sissel (Sallys dotter, Selmas syster), hon var MINST lika stor som Selma. Hassan är väl en tredjedel av deras stolek, knappt. Vi fikade, gick vid havet och grillade. Det var JÄTTEGOTT! Alla hade med sig nånting. Jag och Magnus hade med oss exotisk fruktsallad, det var poppis.
Finaly we all got together for our yearly picninc. I was fun, Kristina and Mats has a huge trampoline in their garden! Yes, we overused it, Magnus fell and I was the first to laugh, that was fun! Me and MAgnus made an exotic fruit sallad wich reminded us of our time in central america, LOVELY. Once a year Elin cuts my hair, one of those times were yesterday. As always after an "Elin cut" my hair looks really great.
